Knightbook

A desktop workspace where a person and their AI tools share one project. The Markdown docs and a Kanban board of tickets live as plain files in the repository, AI clients reach them through a bundled MCP server, and the person decides what is done.

  • Tickets move through Backlog, In progress, Verification and Done, and only the person can accept work as done.
  • Existing Markdown is included by path and rendered in place, with links between documents and tickets.
  • Plans group tickets into phases and read their progress straight from the board.
